Us, Sabrina (French & Italian) & Denis (French), started our adventure in Mozambique, in 2007, when we bought the already existing Odyssea Dive in Vilanculos.
After several years working in IT and advertising in Europe,
our passion for diving, beautiful landscapes and new experiences, lead us to this paradise on earth where people are friendly, beaches are white and waters crystal clear!
Casa Babi was born in 2011, with the idea of offering divers and non divers a new kind of accommodation in Vilanculos, a B&B, where guests would feel at home, hosted by family.
All the members of staff will always do their best to contribute to this feeling. Most of them have been working with us since the beginning and we all consider ourselves a big family.
Last but not least, to make you really feel at home, you can count on the presence of the 6 dogs who joined us throughout the years. Friendly and attentive they love coming along with you for a long walk on the beach.

ECO FRIENDLY GUEST HOUSE
Not only are we passionate about hosting our guests, diving and travelling but we are also thouroughly committed to environmental conservation.
No big projects here... only a lot of little things that hopefully, in the long term, will have a positive impact on our planet.
Organic : as much as we can, we do source organic products for the guest house. The toiletries offered in your bedroom come from organic producers. Most of our cleaning products are organic as well. We produce our own compost and do not use any pesticides in our garden.
As little plastic as possible : toiletries in your bathroom are offered in re-usable glass containers. Water in your bedroom comes from our well (and is analysed every 6 months) and offered in a glass bottle. We also can produce our own sparkling water. Don't ask for straws... we don't have any. Cleaning products are prepared in house and used from re-usable spray bottles. And of course, when we go shopping we have our own bags!
Electrical consumption : we are really sorry but we don't have air con. Our rooms were designed to be naturally ventilated and for the hottest summer months, powerful and very silent fans will bring the extra breeze you need. And for hot water, we have very efficient solar geysers.
