About Sabrina

Sabrina, of French and Italian heritage, has been living in Mozambique since 2007. After leaving a career in advertising in Paris, she moved to Vilanculos with her companion, Denis, to take over Odyssea Dive in, a dive school in Vilanculos where she has worked as a scuba diving instructor. Together, they also built and manage Casa Babi, a boutique guesthouse in Vilanculos since 2011. Having traveled extensively throughout Mozambique and Southern Africa, Sabrina offers informed insights into the region. A food enthusiast, she develops the menus at Casa Babi’s restaurant, drawing inspiration from French, Italian, and global cuisines. In her spare time, Sabrina enjoys sewing and working with capulanas, Mozambique’s vibrant traditional fabrics. Her years of experience and connection to the country make her a knowledgeable voice for sharing its culture and lifestyle.
